A magnetic driven, leak-proof gear pump is teamed with U.I. listed explosion-proof motor to provide safe handling of volatile fluids in hazardous environments. These pumps are constructed to withstand system pressures up to 1500 PSI, temperatures from 50 to 275 deg F., and up to GPM to insure adequate flow through your proving system.

ARCCO provides a full range of Pycnometer services at our state-of-the -art certification laboratory and test facility. Our current system meets and or exceeds the requirements spelled out in the latest version of API Chapter 14.6, reflecting our commitment to stay one step ahead of the industry standards. Behind every certification is the experience gained from ongoing research of Pycnometer performance under full flow conditions using ARCCO’s dynamic temperature and pressure calibration system.
What does “Recertification” mean to ARCCO?
ARCCO’s answer to this is simple. An ARCCO recertification includes “everything necessary to deliver 100% reliable and accurate density”.
The Standard Recertification Service includes:
· Disassemble, clean , and inspect valves and sphere.
· Replace Safety Rupture Disc: confirm proper pressure rating, inspect and weigh (in order to match replacements or extras)
· Check returning vacuum of annular space, leak test annular space at 110 psig for 30 minutes, re-evacuate to original specification.
· Replace valve packing and seals.
· Burst test (safety disc replaced with plug) to 3400 psig for approximately 5 hours.
· Leak test with Safety Rupture Disc installed, to approximately 1 hour.
· Two repeating runs of a five point pressure certification at controlled temperature per API Chapter 14.6 “Water Weight Method”.
· Calculation of volume equation and analysis of data error.
· Dry and clean inside and outside pycnometer.
· Return to customer with Certification listing all test equipment and data including a pycnometer volume equation and Safety Rupture Disc weight.
The Standard Recertification Service is usually enough to get your pycnometer back in service. If additional service or replacement of parts are necessary we will notify you for approval of the work and proceed as necessary.
